Day Trader Tycoon - technical demo
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Day Trader Tycoon is an indie game that aims to be a parody of the stock market.
Your goal is simple: Make as much money as possible by day-trading. You’ll need to quickly react to market events, such as new announcements from companies, market conditions and black-swan events.
The current version here on itch is a basic technical demo - there are 5 days of gameplay with many random events. The goal is to turn 100,000$ to 200,000$.
My goal is to eventually turn it into a full Steam release. I would love to hear any thoughts and suggestions to improve the game!
The game is built with Golang using the Ebitengine library.

Install instructions
Download the ZIP relevant for your OS and run the executable. Be sure to run it from the same directory, as it needs access to the "game_files" directory.

Good game. I hope for an endless mode, but the usual one is also very interesting
